Corgi CC14121 Diecast Model DAF 105, C & G Hughes

C. & G. Hughes haulage was formed in 2008 by Colin & Gail Hughes. Based in green law in the Scottish borders, the firm’s sole DAF XF 105 is usually coupled to a freuhauf bulk trailer carrying grain and malt for Simpsons malt Ltd from Berwick. Their distinctive livery was designed by Colin & Michael shepherd graphics and features a silhouette of a Piper at eilean donan castle as well as Clyde, the 2014 Commonwealth games mascot. A specifically designed tartan band wraps around the cab and the design is completed with their children’s names, Ciaran & Leona.
