10 Genuine coins from the State of Israel. Foreign coins were circulated for a long time and coins may have scratches, dirt or damage from oxidation but still in good condition. Old collectible coins are not legal tender, which means that they can't be used. These foreign coins were picked from these numismatic periods: Palestine pound (1927 -1952), Israeli pound/lira (1952 - 1980), Old Shekel (1980 - 1985) and New Shekel (1986 - date). Each bag may have different combinations of coins. You will get a coin collection picked up randomly from 1 agora to 5 new sheqalim, since 1948. On the Israeli coins there is a state emblem (menorah flanked by olive branches). On the Israeli coins, there maybe symbols of lions, palm trees, pomegranates, grenadine fruits, Lilies, twelve-stringed harps, ancient galleys, Hanukkah, Omer Cups, the Capernaum synagogue.
